Restore Your Soul

The Truest Version of You

What to Expect at a soul restoration retreat

Using an expanded form of the Soul Restoration curriculum originally developed by Melody Ross, you will be taught skills and strategies to change the way you think and behave, and the stories you tell yourself about the experiences you have.

You will learn how changing these thoughts, beliefs, stories, and behaviors will change how you feel.

Through the use of evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuroscience, Art Therapy, Yoga, Journaling, and Forest Bathing, you will have the tools you need to change your life, not just for a week or a month or a year…but for the rest of your life.

Your soul will be restored.

You will be empowered to own your journey towards mind wellness.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does The Retreat Cost?

The Soul Restoration Retreat is $4,995 and includes accommodations, meals and snacks, all course materials, all therapeutic treatment, yoga, forest bathing, sound healing, and art therapy.

Will I have my own room?

Every guest of The Blue Blanket will have their own comfortable bed; however, you will likely have a roommate. Some will share bathrooms and some may have their own. Room assignments are chosen randomly by drawing names. You won’t be spending much time in your room because we have a very exciting and packed schedule all week, including several outings to epic places.

Does the Retreat House have Wifi?

Yes, your devices will have access to free, secure Wifi. However, it is our desire that you would choose to unplug as much as possible during this week of restoration.

Are Meals Provided?

Yes. All meals and snacks will be provided by our spectacular retreat chef during your stay at the Retreat. We will make every effort to accommodate special diets and allergies; however, if there is a particular item you wish to have, you may have groceries delivered via InstaCart.

What Should I Wear?

Casual is recommended for the retreat. Katherine will be dressing comfortably the entire time and we hope you will too. Bring at least one outfit that you will feel comfortable wearing when we go out for public outings.

What Else Should I Bring?

Bring beach attire and comfortable footwear. Oceanfront walks will not be strenuous. Also, remember to bring supplements and medications, sunscreen, a good hat, your favorite pen, a water bottle, and ear plugs and an eye mask if you have trouble sleeping.

What if I've Never Done Yoga Before?

All of our activities are optional. That said, our yoga instructor will be doing only the gentlest of yoga practice with our group. Some very light stretching, bending, and breathing exercises. They will be meant for relaxation purposes and we can assure you, there will be others there who will also be new to the practice. Do the parts that feel comfortable, and breathe through the rest. Or sit on the deck and eat a muffin.

How will I get to the Retreat House?

The Soul Restoration Retreat will take place on Hatteras Island, North Carolina.  A private shuttle will be provided from Norfolk International Airport in the afternoon of the retreat, and return you to Norfolk on the morning of the final day of the retreat. If you choose to drive parking will be available at the retreat house.
